“Auf geht’s!” Scholarship Program from the NRW Ministry of Culture
For the third consecutive year, the members of the Velvet Quartet are beneficiaries of "Auf geht's" scholarship grant program.
Thanks to this financial support, we have been able to record in professional recording studios and realize many of our projects. We can finally do something we’ve been longing to do since the inception of our quartet – dedicate a part of our working hours to lesser known compositions and music written by women.
Programs like “Auf geht’s" are truly imperative for the world of culture, as they provide the resources needed for research and creation.
